Belmont's Curse Characters and Voice Cast

Konami's confirmed roster with English credits: Rose (Abby Trott), Trevor (JB Blanc), Sypha (Reynoso), Dracula (McTavish) and all six bosses.

Rose Belmont Voice Actor and Every Confirmed Belmont's Curse Character

Rose Belmont is voiced in English by Abby Trott. Konami's official character page credits ten performers in total - Rose, Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Count Dracula, then six bosses: The Fallen, Joan of Arc, Medusa, Isaac, Carmilla and Death. As of October 5, 2026 that page still ends with an open "And more...", so read this as the confirmed roster, not the finished one.

What this page is built on

Every credit below was read off Konami's own English and Japanese character pages on October 5, 2026, plus the August 24, 2026 Konami press release that introduced the English cast. Nothing here is a demo observation or a fan database entry - and nothing about the unannounced parts of the full game is guessed at.

Rose Belmont's English voice actor

Abby Trott plays Rose, and Konami names her in the same line: the trailer "introduces Abby Trott as the game's protagonist, Rose Belmont." There is no series history behind the casting, because Rose is new. Konami's character page describes her in two sentences - a "new protagonist who bears Dracula's curse in her right arm," and "the daughter of Trevor Belmont, she is a young vampire hunter who wields a variety of weapons in addition to her whip."

That is the whole character in as many words as Konami has published. You play Rose from the first minute of the demo, so the demo guide has the download per platform if you want to hear the performance before October 15. Her first Arcana, the tarot card she seals The Fallen into, is in the Arcana system guide.

The four main characters and their English voices

Character Who Konami says they are Connection to Rose English voice
Rose Belmont New protagonist carrying Dracula's curse in her right arm - Abby Trott
Trevor Belmont Hero who defeated Count Dracula 23 years ago with the Vampire Killer Father JB Blanc
Sypha Belnades Rose's mother; fought beside Trevor 23 years ago, died soon after Rose was born Mother Alejandra Reynoso
Count Dracula Immortal king of Dracula's Castle, defeated once, resurrected three years later The curse's source Graham McTavish

Two details do real work. Trevor is not a boss you unlock - he travels down the River Seine with Rose in response to a call for help from Paris, and Konami's copy never offers him as playable. Sypha is dead before the game opens, and the page states the cause plainly: she "fell victim to his curse and died soon after Rose was born." Rose's mark on her arm is a family debt, not a random affliction.

Trevor being playable is a fan theory, not an announcement

Players have asked since the February 2026 reveal whether Trevor can be controlled. No official source says so. Konami's game system pages only ever describe customising Rose's battle style, and the demo lets you move Rose alone. Treat "multiple playable characters" as unconfirmed until Konami says otherwise.

Boss voice credits: all six

The same page files these under Bosses. Names and voices are official; behaviour is not.

Boss Official description English voice In the demo?
The Fallen A mysterious "monster" terrorising Paris; the first threat Rose meets in the sewers Ray Chase Yes - the only boss fight
Joan of Arc French heroine who received a divine revelation and fought in the Hundred Years' War Erica Lindbeck No
Medusa Monster with the body of a giant serpent; her gaze turns people to stone Melique Berger No
Isaac Devil forgemaster who creates and commands demons; history with Trevor dating back 20 years Liam O'Brien No
Carmilla Renowned vampire awaiting Rose in Dracula's Castle Dawn M. Bennett No
Death Dracula's right-hand man, the Grim Reaper; his scythe can slice through space Aaron LaPlante No

Five of those six exist only on paper right now. Konami has published names, one-line descriptions and actors - not a single attack, phase or stage for any of them. The one exception is The Fallen, and players have already mapped that fight: it leads with the Holy Cross and ends the demo. The boss guide covers it, with player reporting clearly marked as such.

Liam O'Brien is the one confirmed returning game actor: Konami's release states he "reprises his role as Isaac, who first appeared in Castlevania: Curse of Darkness more than 20 years ago," and it headlines Graham McTavish as reprising Dracula. Press coverage also notes Sypha's Alejandra Reynoso as coming from the Netflix animated series, though Konami has stated the game has no technical link to that show - treat the shared casting as a coincidence of headliners, not shared canon. The series timeline guide sorts out which older connections belong to the games.

The Japanese voice cast

Konami runs a separate Japanese character page, and it carries a full second set of credits rather than leaving the Japanese audio unattributed. Romanised as their agencies and English databases render them:

Character Japanese voice
Rose Belmont Yui Ishikawa
Trevor Belmont Ryutaro Okiayu
Sypha Belnades Ayaka Shimoyamada
Count Dracula Naoya Uchida
The Fallen Nobutoshi Kanna
Joan of Arc Hana Takeda
Medusa Aiko Okubo
Isaac Moriya Endo
Carmilla Mie Sonozaki
Death Satoshi Tsuruoka

One oddity worth flagging so nobody thinks they have misread a typo: on the Japanese page, The Fallen is listed under the plain description "monster" rather than a transliterated name. It is the same character, credited to the same performer.

Sonia Belmont: why early reports named the wrong Belmont

If you read coverage from February or June 2026 and came away thinking the heroine is Sonia Belmont, that reporting was wrong, and Konami's own pages settle it. Rose is Trevor Belmont's daughter and Sypha's - the family line is stated on the character page and repeated in the press release. Some early write-ups reported Sony identifying the lead as Sonia Belmont, a character from older Castlevania games, and a fan theory then read Rose as a reimagined Sonia. Konami's official text names Rose Belmont and never uses the name Sonia.

Sonia belongs to series background, not this game's plot. If you came for the family tree rather than the cast, the first-Castlevania guide explains the older lineage, with older games kept clearly separate from Belmont's Curse.

Who is not in the roster

Three gaps are worth stating plainly, because the searches around this game keep filling them in:

  • Leon Belmont has not been announced. He does not appear on the official character page in any form.
  • The Fallen is not confirmed as Leon. The community guess exists, and Konami's page does nothing to support it - it defines the boss only as a mysterious monster in the sewers.
  • The roster is explicitly incomplete. The page ends with "And more...", so minor enemies, townsfolk and any additional bosses are unrevealed.

Voice and language support

Layer Languages Count
Full voice audio Japanese, English 2
Subtitles only German, French, Italian, Spanish (Spain), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Korean 9

Konami's product page lists audio as Japanese and English, and text across eleven languages in total. Pick your language from the audio list if you want the cast performed rather than read. Platform and edition details are in the release date and platforms guide.

Two of the ten performers are announced reprises

Liam O'Brien on Isaac and Graham McTavish on Dracula both return to characters they have played before. Whether that is the draw is a personal call, but it is the one concrete thing the cast reveal gave players.

FAQ

Who voices Rose Belmont? Abby Trott, credited by Konami as the game's protagonist. Yui Ishikawa voices her in Japanese.

Who is Trevor Belmont's voice actor? JB Blanc in English, Ryutaro Okiayu in Japanese. Trevor travels with Rose in the story but is not confirmed as playable.

Who voices Dracula? Graham McTavish, in a role Konami's press release describes as a reprise.

Is Isaac really Liam O'Brien again? Yes - Konami's release says he reprises Isaac from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, more than 20 years after that game.

Are there more characters than these ten? Almost certainly, but Konami has not said who. The character page ends with "And more...", so nobody can list the full cast yet.

Is the protagonist Sonia Belmont? No. Rose Belmont is Trevor and Sypha's daughter, per Konami's official pages. Early reports naming Sonia were wrong.

Does the game have Japanese voice acting? Yes. Konami lists Japanese and English as the two languages with full audio, and publishes a Japanese cast list alongside the English one.

Can I hear the cast before October 15, 2026? Yes - the demo is out on every platform and Rose is playable from the first minute, so both voice tracks are live now. Konami's demo page has the downloads.
